A bit of background to Andrew
What's in the box?
After an undergraduate in Product Design and Manufacture and an internship building "manual hair removal systems" (shavers) at Gillette, I did a PhD at Cambridge on the evolution of consumer products. Since then, I've worked at every stage of product development, from generating completely new ideas to testing and iterating existing ones.
I have led impactful research on a broad range of physical and digital products for both consumer and business audiences. I've worked with Deliveroo, Samsung, Diesel, Ford, HP, Harper Collins, plus a raft of agencies and startups in London.
I have invested in and advise several start-ups. I am a Google Design Expert and certified Sprint Master and regularly mentor startups in Google's global Launchpad program. I speak about design research and UX at conferences and meetups around the world. I also provide mentoring for entrepreneurial mums, socially responsible businesses and young creatives.
In my spare time, I love to doodle on post-it notes, build furniture out of pallets, snowboard and play hockey (the field variety).
